Dave Spencer Image

Dave Spencer, Founder and Chairman

Dave Spencer founded BayKids in 1997 and served as the Executive Director until 2001. He continues to be an active member on the board. He is the founder of the premier San Francisco health and wellness spa, Sen Spa. Dave is the board president of the Florence Academy of Arts and serves on the board of The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Dave also worked many years doing community outreach with the S.F. Giants and the Oakland A’s. He received an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Mark Barmore Image

Mark Barmore, Executive Director

Mark grew up in San Francisco and has been serving children as a lawyer and educator for 25 years. As a Deputy City Attorney, he served as General Counsel for the San Francisco Unified School District, before his passion for children and education led him to the classroom. He worked as a teacher and principal in San Francisco before becoming Superintendent of Schools in the San Jose area. As Superintendent, he co-sponsored an annual student film festival with other local superintendents, and he is passionate about the educational and therapeutic value of filmmaking.

Kerry Enright, Interim Executive Director

Kerry Katherine Enright is President of Articulate Integrity, a San Francisco-based management consulting practice focused on nonprofits. As Interim Director, Kerry is overseeing BayKids’ transition, including assisting the Board of Directors with recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding a new Executive Director. Since her company launched in 1997, Kerry has helped hundreds of nonprofit organizations, bringing her analytical and practical skills to streamline systems, deliver quality programs, and recruit and hire Executive Directors. Kerry has held executive positions in the nonprofit sector, politics, and investment banking.

Mimi Rauschendorf Image

Mimi Rauschendorf, Program Manager

As Program Manager, Mimi is responsible for directing filmmaking programs in the hospital. Before moving to San Francisco and exploring the independent film landscape here, she worked as a producer in Europe on over 15 major feature film productions. Mimi is currently the owner and producer of Überfilm Productions, a production company specializing in web and presentation videos.

Heidi Bianchini, Board Member

Heidi Bianchi is Director of Events Marketing for Silicon Valley Bank. In this role she plans, manages and executes corporate and client events for the company. Heidi volunteers at her children’s school as much as possible.


Andrew Call Image

Andrew Call, Board Member

Andrew works in Legal Operations at Houzz in Palo Alto. Prior to that, he worked in Operations at Uber and Facebook. He is passionate about the intersection between medicine and filmmaking and has been an active BayKids board member since 2014. Andrew has a special interest in career coaching and received his BA from UC Santa Cruz.

Alison Caron, Board Member

Alison joined BayKids in 2011 as co-chair of Women in Motion, focusing on fundraising. She spent 20 years as a management consultant specializing in IT project management, business process improvement, and operations for companies in the apparel and footwear industries. Alison received a degree in English and a Masters in Education from the University of Colorado. She has spent over five years working with the Parca Auxiliary, including two years serving on the board of directors.

Crisanta De Guzman Image

Crisanta De Guzman, Board Member

Crisanta is a sculptor, experimental filmmaker, and a member of the BayKids filmmaking team. Her short films have been screened at national and international film festivals. Her film “Happy Dance,” a short film about her autistic son James, premiered at CAAMFest SF 2015. A graduate of Cambridge University and the Ateneo de Manila University, she worked in finance for Deutsche Bank and UBS before focusing on the arts, film, and philanthropy. Crisanta is a partner at the Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund and a regular volunteer at Reading Partners.

Chris Di Carlo, Board Member

Chris DiCarlo is an in-house attorney at BlackBerry Corporation. He received a BA from Georgetown University and a JD/MBA from Santa Clara University.

Erin Di Carlo Board Member

Erin Di Carlo works for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. She graduated from Georgetown University.

Billy Harris, Board Member

Billy Harris is Owner, Creative Executive, and Head Chef at St Clairs Gourmet, an events and catering company in Burlingame, California, which he founded in 1996. Billy graduated from the University of Houston with degrees in Art History and History and holds a Masters of Art in History from the University of Louisville. Billy received his Culinary Arts Degree from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Bay Area Make-a-Wish for six years and is currently a member of The Make-A-Wish Advisory Council.

Deborah Huber, Board Member

Deborah began working with BayKids as a volunteer in 2010, filmmaking in the field, and a year later joined the board. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley and Stanford University, she has worked as a writer and producer developing product concepts and leading development teams in building interactive properties for clients large and small, including Late Show, Marvel, Ford, and Apple. Deborah is working on writing her second children’s novel.

Hooan Khalili Image

Hooan Khalili, Board Member

Hooman Khalili is a radio personality in the S.F. Bay Area on Alice Radio 97.3 FM (CBS Radio). He has been part of the Sarah and Vinnie morning show for the past 17 years. An accomplished filmmaker, Hooman created the #1 most-viewed, non-partisan video to get out the youth vote in the 2008 presidential election. The video now resides in the museum of Radio and Television in NYC. In 2011, Hooman made Olive, the first full-length feature film shot entirely on a cell phone. Starring Gena Rowlands and featuring five original songs written and performed by Dolly Parton, OLIVE qualified for the academy awards in 2011.

Suzy Tobin Lester, Board Member

Suzy has a long history of chairing non-profit benefits to raise funds for charity. She joined BayKids in 2011 as co-chair of Women in Motion. Suzy spent eighteen years in the fashion industry as part of Nordstrom’s management team. At Nordstrom’s she initiated many collaborative events between Nordstrom and local charities. Suzy is a sustainer with the Junior League and PARCA and is actively involved with her children’s school.

Jeremy Veit, Board Member

Jeremy is a Partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP’s San Francisco office. His practice at Kirkland focuses on all aspects of private equity transactions, particularly leveraged acquisitions of both public and private targets and equity and debt financings. In addition, Jeremy has experience in both public and private securities offerings, fund formation, executive compensation matters and general corporate matters.
